1. What will happen to you? What will happen to everything, during the next rest cycle? The answer is suspended animation. What exactly does this mean? It’s like being frozen. The scientific idea of cryonics is a close attempt at suspended animation. But they haven’t brought anything back to life yet, because they don’t know what life is. They don’t know what animates form, and many scientists still believe that form animates itself. They have no spiritual insight at all.
2. Not only will you be in forced stop mode, but so will everyone and everything you know and don’t know. Everything just comes to a screeching halt, including time itself.
3. Now for another Bible reference. In the Book of Revelations, a thousand-year period is mentioned. And that people will be brought back from the dead at the end of the thousand-year period. This wasn’t half bad, except that instead of one thousand years, it will be hundreds of millions of years. But to us it will be like a second. It will be like waking up from surgery, an especially long one, without the pain of course.
4. Why will this happen again? And why has it happened before? The easy answer is that it is part of the creative process. But you really don’t have to look far for the answer. Just look at your own life experience. Rest is crucial. Many live for the weekend. They cherish sleeping late, and staying in their pajamas all day without shaving or combing their hair, and maybe eating a bowl of Froot Loops for dinner.
5. This is how God and all parts of God feel about the great hibernation. It is sacred and healing.
